On May 8th 2013, Halton with Aughton Parish Council will hold it’s Annual Meeting of the Parish Council where the Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the next year are elected. The meeting will commence at 7.15pm at The Centre @ Halton and will be followed directly afterwards by the Annual Parish Meeting. This is the meeting where the Parish Council invite the public to hear reports from the Chairman and provides an opportunity for the members of the public to express their opinions on what the council are doing.
This year’s Annual Parish Meeting will also see the launch of the new Parish Plan. Following many months of work and extensive consultation, the Plan describes the parish and its history, and summarises the key actions which the community would like to see over the coming years to protect and enhance the character of the parish and to manage any changes which the Parish may face in the future.
